مَا يَأْتِيهِم مِّن ذِكْرٍ مِّن رَّبِّهِم مُّحْدَثٍ إِلَّا ٱسْتَمَعُوهُ وَهُمْ يَلْعَبُونَ

Never comes (aught) to them of a renewed Message from their Lord, but they listen to it as in jest,-

Rablerinden kendilerine gelen her yeni hatırlatmayı hep eğlenerek dinliyorlar.

Kendilerine, Rablerinden her yeni mesaj geldiğinde, onlar kalpleri eğlencede olduğu hâlde (gaflet içerisinde) elbette bununla hep alay ederek dinlemişlerdi. O zalimler şu gizli fısıltıyı yapmışlardı: “Bu (Muhammed) sizin gibi bir insandan başka nedir ki!Siz şimdi göz göre göre büyüye mi geliyorsunuz (büyüye mi kapılıyorsunuz)?”
