وَهُوَ ٱلَّذِى يُحْىِۦ وَيُمِيتُ وَلَهُ ٱخْتِلَـٰفُ ٱلَّيْلِ وَٱلنَّهَارِ ۚ أَفَلَا تَعْقِلُونَ

وَهُوَ

And He

ٱلَّذِى

(is) the One Who

اسم

يُحْىِۦ

gives life

فعل

الجذر: حيي

وَيُمِيتُ

and causes death

فعل

الجذر: موت

وَلَهُ

and for Him

ٱخْتِلَٰفُ

(is the) alternation

الجذر: خلف

ٱلَّيْلِ

(of) the night

الجذر: ليل

وَٱلنَّهَارِ

and the day

اسم

الجذر: نهر

أَفَلَا

Then will not

اسم

تَعْقِلُونَ

you reason

فعل

الجذر: عقل

It is He Who gives life and death, and to Him (is due) the alternation of Night and Day: will ye not then understand?
