Or do ye think that ye shall enter the Garden (of bliss) without such (trials) as came to those who passed away before you? they encountered suffering and adversity, and were so shaken in spirit that even the Messenger and those of faith who were with him cried: "When (will come) the help of Allah?" Ah! Verily, the help of Allah is (always) near!

Yoksa siz, kendinizden önce gelip geçenlerin hali (uğradıkları sıkıntılar) başınıza gelmeden cennete girivereceğinizi mi sandınız? Onlara öyle yoksulluklar, öyle sıkıntılar dokundu ve öyle sarsıldılar ki, hatta peygamber ve beraberinde iman edenler: "Allah'ın yardımı ne zaman?" derlerdi. Bak işte! Gerçekten Allah'ın yardımı yakındır.

Yoksulluk ve sıkıntı onlara öylesine dokunmuş ve (öylesine) sarsılmışlardı ki sonunda (her) elçi ve beraberindeki müminler, “Allah’ın yardımı ne zaman?” demişlerdi. Dikkat edin! Allah’ın yardımı yakındır.

Affliction and adversity befell them, they were shaken as with earthquake, till the messenger (of Allah) and those who believed along with him said: When cometh Allah's help? Now surely Allah's help is nigh.
