35:12

Nor are the two bodies of flowing water alike,- the one palatable, sweet, and pleasant to drink, and the other, salt and bitter. Yet from each (kind of water) do ye eat flesh fresh and tender, and ye extract ornaments to wear; and thou seest the ships therein that plough the waves, that ye may seek (thus) of the Bounty of Allah that ye may be grateful.

Hem iki deniz eşit olmuyor. Şu tatlı, hararet keser, içerken (boğazdan) kayar; şu da tuzlu, yakar kavurur. Bununla beraber her birinden taze bir et yersiniz ve bir ziynet çıkarır, giyinirsiniz. Allah'ın lütfundan nasib arayasınız diye suyu yara yara giden gemileri de görürsün. Gerek ki şükredeceksiniz.

İki deniz birbirine eşit değildir. Biri tatlıdır, susuzluğu keser, içmesi kolaydır; diğeri ise tuzludur, acıdır. (Buna rağmen) hepsinden de taze et (balık) yiyorsunuz ve giyeceğiniz (takınacağınız) süs (eşyası) çıkartıyorsunuz. (Allah’ın) nimetlerinden arayıp da şükretmeniz için gemilerin denizi yarıp gittiğini görürsün.
