وَمَا ٱلْحَيَوٰةُ ٱلدُّنْيَآ إِلَّا لَعِبٌ وَلَهْوٌ ۖ وَلَلدَّارُ ٱلْـَٔاخِرَةُ خَيْرٌ لِّلَّذِينَ يَتَّقُونَ ۗ أَفَلَا تَعْقِلُونَ

وَمَا
And not

ٱلْحَيَوٰةُ
(is) the life

ٱلدُّنْيَآ
(of) the world

إِلَّا
except

a play

and amusement

but the home

(of) the Hereafter

(is) best

لِّلَّذِينَ
for those who

يَتَّقُونَ
(are) God conscious

أَفَلَا
Then not

تَعْقِلُونَ
(will) you reason

الجذر: عقل

الترجمة

What is the life of this world but play and amusement? But best is the home in the hereafter, for those who are righteous. Will ye not then understand?
