۞ وَلَوْ يُعَجِّلُ ٱللَّهُ لِلنَّاسِ ٱلشَّرَّ ٱسْتِعْجَالَهُم بِٱلْخَيْرِ لَقُضِىَ إِلَيْهِمْ أَجَلُهُمْ ۖ فَنَذَرُ ٱلَّذِينَ لَا يَرْجُونَ لِقَآءَنَا فِى طُغْيَـٰنِهِمْ يَعْمَهُونَ
Word by word
Translation
If Allah were to hasten for men the ill (they have earned) as they would fain hasten on the good,- then would their respite be settled at once. But We leave those who rest not their hope on their meeting with Us, in their trespasses, wandering in distraction to and fro.

Eğer Allah, insanlara, hayrı çarçabuk istedikleri gibi, şerri de alelacele verseydi, onların hemen ecellerini getiriverirdi. Fakat bize kavuşmayı ummayanları kendi hallerine bırakırız da azgınlıkları içinde bocalayıp giderler.

Allah (inkârcı) insanlara, hayrı acele istedikleri gibi şerri de acele verseydi, elbette onların süreleri bitirilmiş olurdu. Bizimle karşılaşacaklarını ummayanları (ahirete inanmayanları) azgınlıkları içerisinde bocalar hâlde bırakırız.
