The Jews call 'Uzair a son of Allah, and the Christians call Christ the son of Allah. That is a saying from their mouth; (in this) they but imitate what the unbelievers of old used to say. Allah's curse be on them: how they are deluded away from the Truth!

Yahudiler, "Uzeyir Allah'ın oğlu" dediler, Hıristiyanlar da "Mesih Allah'ın oğlu", dediler. Bu onların kendi ağızlarıyla uydurdukları sözlerdir. Daha önce inkâra sapmış olanların sözlerine benzetiyorlar. Allah onları kahretsin, nasıl da saptırıyorlar!

(Bazı) yahudiler, “Üzeyir Allah’ın oğludur.” demişlerdi. (Bazı) hristiyanlar da “Mesih (İsa) Allah’ın oğludur.” demişlerdi. Bu, onların ağızlarındaki (anlamsız) sözleridir. Onlar daha önce kâfir olanların sözünün aynısını söylüyorlar. Allah onları kahretsin! Nasıl da (gerçeklerden) döndürülüyorlar!
